My eyes are ever toward the Lord: for He shall pluck my feet out of the snare; look Thou upon me, and have mercy on me, for I am alone and poor. (From Psalm 25:15-16)

Verse Response: Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul: O my God, I trust in Thee; let me not be ashamed. (From Psalm 25:1,2)

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The Collect for Oculi:

We beseech Thee, Almighty God, look upon the hearty desires of Thy humble servants and stretch forth the right hand of Thy majesty to be our defence against all our enemies.
