The Introit for Oculi:
My eyes are ever toward the Lord: for He shall pluck my feet out of the snare; look Thou upon me, and have mercy on me, for I am alone and poor. (From Psalm 25:15-16)
Verse Response: Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul: O my God, I trust in Thee; let me not be ashamed. (From Psalm 25:1,2)
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
The Collect for Oculi:
We beseech Thee, Almighty God, look upon the hearty desires of Thy humble servants and stretch forth the right hand of Thy majesty to be our defence against all our enemies. Through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
