The amount of information, particularly names and how different people are related is astounding.<br /><br />Re. canonization of the family of the last Tsar of Russia. The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia canonized the family in 1981. At the time a member of the Russian family in which I grew up (due to the divorce of my parents and my mother’s remarriage) came up to me, eyes shining, obviously ecstatic, and said, “Did you hear that the church has made a saint of the Tsar?” I responded, probably without all that much enthusiasm, “Among us Lutherans he was always a saint.”<br /><br />Peace and Joy!<br />George A.
